1.  PPP loans extended to May 31st

On Thursday, the Senate voted 92-7 to extend the Paycheck Protection Program another two months until May 31st. Experts believe this extension will give time to approve close to 200,000 pending applications. Link

2.  New initiative creates opportunity for aspiring Black franchise owners. - FSR: Link

The Multicultural Foodservice and Hospitality Alliance (MFHA) has been selected to receive pro bono consulting from the Harvard Business School. In conjunction with 4thMVMT and PepsiCo, MFHA hopes to build a platform that helps those from underserved communities develop and operate competitive hospitality businesses. Link
